They already got interested to work with opensource mobiles, now the time came. The GPS which it takes data from the google helps you to show the MAPS for your specified location. There are many options like Mylocation, MyPath... like that... Android is an opensource. What will happen if it touches the market, and competes with other iphone and windows mobile... lets see.. .samsung became one of the competitors for iphone, windows mobiles.
