A business deal to crash google with power of balmer and carol bartz. How far they should work to achieve the deal. Already Google reached to a massive audience. this would be a waste of time to defeat.
Yahoo has certain level of audience and mobs, but they should do lots of home works to maintain their market as google. They should work atleast 3 to 4 years to reach google search market 2004. But in the agreement according to tech insiter David Coursey said, Yahoo has a limited number of partner on writing search algorithm.. First of all Yahoo has copied the search concepts from AOL, but every search scripts will be write only from Microsoft side.

Yahoo is a good online portal to maintain the news and events, it reaches a people a lot rather than igoogle. People thinks search is google- google is search, they also became a giant in adsense publishing marketing. No one can reach this, because this is their concept, they can be a king. To discuss about the adsenses need to be more clear on, every one can search every one can give advertisements.. So there is no medium for trust persons and trust mobs. Actually first google tried to yahoo for the partnership program on search, advertisement and publishing, some deals which makes more unifying. Yahoo didn't accept the deal, because of some points not suits them. But what makes you here yahoo.. only microsoft will dominate you by showing their trust customers and trusted mobs. You are very similar search ranking algorithm to google. So you power wont speak there. The search/online marketing/advertisement/publishing/adsence concept should not be a properatory procedure, will it happen?

On taking social networking yahoo/microsoft is fit for doing... but see what happen google has a product orkut.. which is not famous in US but in other countries like brazil, India... they are having lots of users every day making the page rank to 10. So compare the things. Marketing through social networking will be bright. Similarly the mail, fastest and usable mail. Hotmail ranked to worst website functionality in PCWORLD survey release. Yahoo can keep their market as it is.. marketing/publishing to both may reach... But every product from google is hit. yahoo has some products. microsoft has some products ... if one is famous in yahoo, not famous in microsoft eg... yahoomail is good- hot mail is bad... yahoo portal is good - msn is average. microsoft has internet explorer - yahoo has nothing. Windows live has lots of customers - yahoo 360 is very less. MSN chat is proffessional and limitied users - yahoo messanger has large in number. BING is but is not google - Yahoo limited mobs for search, like wise some thing is missing with each other... in goodwill wise both are branded in common, this makes them to jumb in the market against google. So if some thing is famous in common for them.. try to concentrate you may win in the battle.

According to Adam Kovacevich, google wont be settle like this, they would started their research on another level. Before signing in the govt law paper microsoft-yahoo.. they will show the next level of their business. So they have to be careful, but it may not continue so long... if they aren't think about the google's steps. If they release their strength, that time google will reach in next level.

Google a top most giant in search, wants to know their market on Operating system, that makes them an idea to develop a linux based operating system called as Chrome, some says it is a network based operating system, but it also comes as a offline based system. So this would be a good response from the public. According to Indian market (But not for sale..) Every body thinks how this technology could help in their career. But google says it should be a good knowledge for you to earn very quickly..

There are some advantages on using google chrome, because it knows the battery life control, multitasking++, According to Rubin prof from google, says we have a plan to prevent fragmentation the Android market. So every one should be aware there is also a opportunity for Android development. Google will release every year Android mobiles as 2 versions. Microsoft going to release with three different versions of Windows 7 RC, starter with two viruses... he he they said like that, becoz there plays 3 different iritating applications such as Premium Trojan; and Ultimate Spyware, Trojan and Rootkit Edition. Hope this may iritate the people.

Why taking risk.. what ever be they are sure, this versions and edition doesn't have any bugs and errors. (Long time no see?) lets wait for that...

Microsoft Loses $435 Million in Netbooks

Firstly every one knows microsoft rulez.. They involved 90% of net book sale for past couple of years but now (Dated : 24/2/2009) they loses their involvement and down to 70%. They re facing now a big problem in net book sale.

Linux as its competitor was responsible for about $75 million in losses, not terribly scathing for Microsoft. But the figures begin to mount significantly when you consider the cost incurred for XP's lingering domination instead of the hoped for Vista (which accounted for less then two percent of the netbook market). Netbook Digest's calculation was based on a per unit loss of $36 due to XP, multiplied by 10 million netbooks sold in 2008, making $360 million. Add to that the $75 million lost to Linux and you get the $435 million.

they are concentrating more on virtualization to work linux in windows while started, and vice versa.

I dont know whether this could be an open source. But Novell said it would be a low paid for updates, and other stuffs. So surely they would fix the cost for enterprise editions, thats normal. May be this will work as a shovel to pick up all the problems and dusts on complex cross platform usage.

Microsoft plans to layoff 15000 jobs, my god its quite maximum from microsoft. From past history this would be a poor on terminating the employees. 15000 cutting jobs were from 17% of microsoft campus around the globe. It includes all product development divisions such as xbox, microsoft r and d, marketing etc.

This may be the poor strategy from microsoft side. They are planning to submit the second quarter revenue on 22 of jan 2009. This year will be a most survival problem for microsoft platform individuals.

Microsoft IS Targeting Open Source Users

Much of the reaction from FOSS folks to news that Microsoft is joining the Open Source Census centers on concern that Microsoft is out to find open source users and what open source software they’re using. I think that may be exactly right.

However, I don’t think Microsoft has embarked on a SCO-style hunt for open source users it can cajole, threaten or sue for unnamed patent infringements. No, I think Microsoft has genuine interest in finding out how many open source software users are candidates for open source on Windows. I believe the company, which has changed, is aware of the scrutiny on it and its strategy with open source. Does Microsoft want to know exactly which open source software packages are most popular in datacenters? Wouldn’t you if you were provider of the most popular server/desktop OS in the world? Certainly Microsoft would rather see growth of its own products rather than growth of open source, but I believe it has accepted that it also has opportunity in open source that will be taken by others if it does not step up.

Microsoft is indeed targeting open source software users. However, being in the cross hairs means being a customer and I highly doubt any of those customers will ever find themselves defendants against Microsoft. Will Microsoft use Open Source Census data to sharpen its focus on its own products that compete with open source? Sure, but whether Redmond is aware or not, the bigger opportunity lies in Microsoft’s own support of open source. Should Microsoft be precluded from obtaining information about how much and which open source is being used? That doesn’t sound like open source to me. Once again, we see that open source is increasingly being viewed not as a hobbyist fad, cheap alternative, or enterprise-limited. No, instead open source is being viewed and handled by Microsoft and most other vendors as a source of real rivalry and real opportunity.
